Wilson

Wilson is a little pistol of a setter.  Here are some
pictures of him, when I could get him to be still
for a moment.  He is about 1.5 years old, good
with other dogs (loves to play if they will play
with him) and probably no cats.  We are working
on not jumping up.  He is ok in a crate at night.
He loves to run run run.  He is very birdy and
may possibly have hunt potential.  I have not
been able to take him to really evaluate this,
though.  He does not know his name yet but
really likes people and wants to please.  He is tiny,
maybe about 40-45 lbs of muscle. He is shorter
than my setter Prince, who is pretty small but
leggy for a male.  He is becoming more confident
in the house.  He rides pretty good in a vehicle.
Wilson would probably be ok with teens or
maybe 10 years or older.
He is already vetted and ready to go.  He is
housebroken with supervision, he counter surfs and
needs some work on manners but is very sweet and
eager to please.  Wilson will need a fenced in yard.
UPDATE - 2/25/12
Wilson has gained about 10 lbs while in foster care.
He still loves to run and run and chase birds.  He is
crate-trained and is working really hard on "sit."
He is just a puppy that needs to learn some
manners.  He is better in the house and will crawl in
his foster mom's lap if she is sitting down.  He
knows his name and responds to it. We hopefully
can get some bird work in soon.  I do not trust
Wilson's recall at this time for him to be an off-leash
dog.  He would be a good running partner or just
someone's best friend.  Wilson is not a cat-safe dog.

Wilson is bird crazy. He would make a good hunter
if someone would spend time with him and train
him.
