Bella is a 10 year old Llewellin Setter. Bella and
Ashten (also posted) are half sisters that come from
a pure line of Llewellins from Italy and Belgium.
Ashten and Bella have been with our family since
birth and love to hunt, swim, and play. Their
absolutely favorite thing to do is be let off the leash
at the dog park or in an open field. Both are
excellent pointers with great noses.
They are mid size dogs weighting 38-40 lbs. Both
are in excellent health and show no signs of being 10
years old. They act the same now as they did when
they were 3. Bella is deaf in one ear but we don't
notice that really affecting her normal daily life. Both
have been spayed. Both were crate trained until 4
years old and both are house trained as well.
Although Bella recently decided that our brand new
rug was too hard to resist marking. Something
about the texture and smell of this particular rug only.
They love to run and will need a fence at least 5 foot
tall to ensure containment. Both like to be around
other dogs and people including kids of all ages, but
do not do so well around cats.
Ashten and Bella are incredible dogs with a ton of
energy and heart.
Ashten and Bella’s family is rehoming them because
there is a child in the home that is allergic to them so
they have their own room in the home until new
home can be found. It would be great if they are
adopted together, but they can be separated too.
Since you will be talking to the family that has had
them since they were puppies, a lot of information is
available to the adopters of these two beauties.
They currently live in Houston TX and relocation via
A&B’s volunteer transport to other parts of the
country is available.
