Spencer is a 45 pound 6 year old field setter with lots of
energy. He can go for hours outside but is the original
couch potato when he comes in. Because of his high energy
level he needs a lot of room to run and exercise. A couple of
walks around the neighborhood every day will not be
enough. He really needs room to move. He is a real love
and readily seeks out strokes and tummy rubs.
Spencer wants to please and is very compliant most of the
time. He struggles on a lead and could use some training.
He does have issues with his personal space and has shown
aggression when others (human and canine) approach him
unexpectedly from behind. For that reason he needs to be
an only dog and cannot live in a house with small children.
