Sheila is a sweet 3-5 year old English Setter mix. She is
small, only being 18 inches at the shoulder and weighing
35 pounds. She has had puppies in the past and is a
natural mother.
When I had my wisdom teeth pulled, she was curled up
with me the whole time on the couch. She plays nurse
maid well. Sheila is such a sweety, she gets along with
everybody from a one year old active setter to the senior
chihuahua. She puts up with all of the pups anticts and
plays with him for many long hours and she has also
curled up for a nap with the senior chi.
Sheila enjoys running around the yard for 15-20 minutes
playing with the other dogs then she will come inside and
settle down.
She is great with kids and likes to play chase
with the cats. She will stop when told to do so.
She would never hurt or scare the cats at all.
Sheila does not like the crate or kennel and
does not need one. She is well behaved when
left home alone. We trust her totally when we
leave her home.
She still pulls a little with a no-pull harness when
on a leash.
She sleeps in the bed with her humans and it is
natural for her to be in their bed.
She only eats her kibble with a little bit of canned
mixed in.
Sheila would do well being an only dog or in a
home with more than one dog.
