Roxie with the cute, curly hair hails from Iowa. She
was a hunting girl when her life was turned upside
down by her owners' divorce. She came with her
Setter friend Dallas.
Roxie is about 3 years old, spayed and up on all her
health needs. She is very sweet, likes to give kisses,
and is OK with cats. She is crate trained and
working on potty training. Sometimes she is pushy
with other dogs that are hyper or too
confrontational, and we will be working with her on
that. She is fine with her buddy Dallas and other
calm dogs.
She is moderate to high energy and loves to look
for birds of all kinds, so she needs a fenced yard to
play in. She is little, about 30lb, and knows some
basic manners like come and sit. She still needs to
work on her interdog relationships. She will do best
without another female dog in her new home. She
likes lap-time cuddles, so that's also on her wish list
too.
This is a dog that needs a calm, assertive, dog
savvy owner that can show Roxie what is expected
of her. Won't you start her New Year off right and
give her a second chance in her new home?
