Patches is a 16 month old male English Setter/
Australian Cattle dog mix. He is house trained, current
on his shots and will sit on command. He is neutered.
Patches is a beautiful dog that everyone instantly falls in
love with. He currently lives with two other dogs and
loves to play with them in a large yard. He has lots of
energy and is very mild tempered. He is good around
children, and tends to like women better than men. He
can be very timid especially around new people but
follows me through the house from room to room very
curious about everything, but tends to be scared of
loud noises like the vacuum. He loved the dogs he lived
with and a lot of the time was more interested in playing
with them rather than seeking attention from humans.
He takes more towards females than males. He loves to
have plenty of room to play and run.
He walks on a leash but does pull, since he is so used to
being free to run where he wants. He will sit and he will
come when he is called if he wants to, he can be
stubborn. He likes attention but when he is finished
with the attention he wants he likes to do his own thing
and is not high maintenance. He loves to be spoiled and
likes to sleep on the couch next to you.
He has been around a cat in an outdoor setting, he is
curious but after being scratched, he stayed away. He
does not need a fence if there is lots of land, but does in
a smaller area.
