Mickey is a lovely English Setter she adores
people and especially loves children to cuddle
with. My seven year old daughter loves to
brush and cuddle with Mickey and this gal will
flop down right on her belly and soak up all
the good loving and attention as quiet as a
mouse. She is a very well mannered girl and
is a magnet to people. She loves to be in the
house and is for the most part potty trained.
During her time here with us we have only
had two piddle accidents. She is very smart
and has taken to the house very quickly and
well mannered. We acquired Mickey as an
addition to our pack about two months ago
and it has been a bitter sweet process. This
gal loves people and is very accepting of our
cat. Her troubles lie within the fact that she
doesn’t get along well with our other dogs.

When we took Mickey she came from living a kennel life all by her lonesome for seven years. She hasn’t
had the opportunity to be socialized with others until she came here. My fear lies in the fact that this is a
fearful form of aggression and she really needs a home where she can be the only canine of the house.
We would love to keep her because she really is a gem, but it is not in her best interest to be separated
from our pack and have to take turns socializing with the family. I would love to see her go to a home
where she will be the only gal and can soak up the love from all the family without needing to be
separated. She deserves a home where she truly can indulge living in a peaceful home without worries of
another dog.
I have all of her vet records and she is up to date on all of her shots. She is also, American Field
Registered and I have all of her papers that have not yet been transferred into our names. She is not
spayed currently as she is still very new to us here.
I would like to see her go to a home that I can visit before she moves, so distance from Willseyville , NY
