London is a 14 month old medium size neutered male,
weighing 37 lbs, stands 23 inches at the front shoulders.
He is  up to date on all vaccinations with a clean bill of
health from the vet; also on Heart Worm Negative and on
preventive medication. He was born in May 2006.

London gets better everyday. He had little to no training
when we received him.  He seemed to have some house
training, not consistent, but much better now with a little
discipline.  He has had No accidents in the last few weeks.
He is starting to learn his name.  He needs additional work
on basic commands, but he is beginning to pick up the
basics of sit, lie down and stay. He still needs to work on
coming when called.  London is not totally crate trained
but would be if an only dog.  It’s been difficult for us to
crate train him when our other 2 ES’s are not.  He wasn’t
leashed trained when we received him, but is better each
time we walk.  We still don’t trust him to obey if not on a
leash or in a fenced yard.  He has never tried to climb or
dig out of the fence, but has got out of the gate (left
open) a couple times, runs around, but comes back.
London is highly active and alert.  Runs all day chasing
birds, squirrels, bugs and plays well with our 3 year old
ES.  Everything I would expect for a dog his age.

His temperment is Great.  Very friendly with every
person or animal he has been around.  At this time he
hasn’t been around small children, but we have no
reason to think it would be a problem.  He seems to
want to be an Alpha around our 3-year-old ES, but
Shiner is a bit timid, and he respects our 13-year-old
Tri-color.  They all get along good, no fights or
aggressive behavior, just trying to establish their
order.  He seems happiest outside, but if the other
dogs come in the house, he wants in also, only because
he thinks he will miss out on some attention
or food.  Once in the house he settles down
well.

From my history around setters, I believe
London is purebred.  His stature, markings,
and behavior are all great.  He has all the
potential to be a very good dog.  All he needs
is obedience training and he’s anxious to
learn.  If we didn’t have two ES’s already, we’
d like to adopt him. If you have the time to
devote to this boy please consider giving him
a home.
