Indy

Indy was pulled from a shelter who was
thinking of putting him down because he
had either been hit by a car or run over.  His
rear leg was broken and seemed to be
getting infected.

A kind soul, working with A&B, too him to
her local vet who recommended
amputating the leg but also suggested she
get a 2nd opinion.  The orthopedic surgeon
suggested that they treat the infection and
let the leg heal as it was not a new break.
We have no clue, as of yet, what will be the
final outcome for this little boy but he has
already accrued vet bills.

Indy is available for adoption, but not
knowing what will happen with his leg, A&B
has taken responsibility for this boy and will
pay for treatment for his leg even after he is
adopted.
Can you find it in your heart to help little Indy get the
therapy he needs?
Update:  Pictures below were taken Aug 9.  Good flexion in left
stifle, weight bearing and use. Runs, does stairs, inclines with no
problems.

He's been doing the underwater treadmill - water at half tibia with
jets.  He did the air mattress on Monday (works on balance, lateral
movements) - was sore afterwards for 36 hours so back to the
underwater treadmill for more linear work.

Indy is continuing to receive therapy for his leg which is very
expensive.  He needs to have this so he can live a normal life, which
this little boy reallly deserves.
These two pictures show Indy, before
he started therapy and now, during
therapy!
