Hi!! My name is Hank. You know, like Hunting
With Hank, the TV show on the Outdoor Life
channel. Yup, that's right--my great-grandpa was
the TV dog Hank. I am a Llewellin Setter--a cousin
to the English Setter. I am about 15 months old.
I was bought by someone that wanted to hunt
with me, but they said I was scared of birds
because I cowered when I found one. Well, I'm a
setter--that's what I'm supposed to do!! My
family offered me in the newspaper as "free to
good home"--I wonder if anyone has called and
said that they are a bad home? Anyway, my foster
mom knows about us bird dogs, and she knew
how special a Llewellin setter is, and so she took
me home. I was so scared--I had never been in a house before ! But I have settled right in--I like taking
naps on the couch, chewing on toys, and I even know how to use a doggie door. I really just want to go
live with someone that will take me places and cuddle with me a lot. I'm even nice to kitties! I am fully
vetted and microchipped. I don't bark a lot, and I am housetrained. I am a pretty calm boy, and walk
pretty well on a leash (I am still working on not pulling). I know how to sit, and would like for my new family
to teach me even more. I am a friendly boy (and dashingly handsome) that needs my own family. Can that
be you?
