Meet Gillie! He is a 6-year-young
Llewellin Setter in need of a loving
home. He is energetic and good with
children, we have an 18-month old.
Gillie loves to lick her hands and face
and tolerates it when she whacks him in
the face or steps on his tail. Gillie is
crate-trained, potty-trained and
neutered. Gillie has been with us for
four years but we have to give him up
due to ou changing work hours. A
pure-bred Llewellin from Lynhill
Llewellin Setters in western PA, he is
NOT a hunter, but does have strong
pointing instincts. Gillie loves going for
walks, runs, and playing outside, as well
as laying on his bed, or the couch. He
has exhibited some agitation when in
big groups of dogs, but loves running
around with one other dog in our yard
(a neighbor's dog).

I think a fenced in yard would be enormously helpful with Gillie,
although he hasn't run away when giving the opportunity in about
3 years. Also, we don't have cats, but I believe the prior owner
had a cat and there was no problem. We have stayed with friends
who have a cat and there was no problem. We do have an
18month old who he is wonderful with.
Gillie is not really a barky dog, but will alert you to people at the
door. Also, he is extremely affectionate - loves to snuggle, be
petted and scratched, etc. Gillie weighs 45 lbs, is fully up-to-date
on all of his vaccinations, and has a micro-chip. Gillie needs a new
forever home ASAP.
