Hi there! Are you looking for a wonderful new family member? Well,
my name is Fresca and I am a 2-3 year old Orange Belton English
Setter and I am looking for a wonderful new home. I like this foster
home and everyone loves me here, but wow, would I like a family of
my own. I am a very fun loving girl who traveled almost across the
country to my foster home here in New York. My foster Mom calls me
the “soda pop girl”. Must be because Fresca is a soda and I’m full of
all sorts of bubbly energy. Sometimes when I get excited and have to
sit and wait for something, like going out or dinner, I pop up when
Mom says okay. I have two setter friends here, Chester and Ellie.
They are wonderful to run and play with, we have a great time. As
you can see in my pictures, I cuddle up and snuggle too. Oh yeah,
there are 4 cats here too. One mean kitty, I don’t like that one and
one scared kitty, I do chase him. I am crate trained, almost house
trained , and if you leave things on the counter I would probably
revert to surfing the counter. Foster Mom says as long as I haven’t
found anything interesting there why do I bother. I tend to agree.
Let me tell you the yard is a very exciting place with so many birds
and squirrels to chase, I really love being outside. I really am the
Energizer Setter! I would love to have one or more high energy
siblings to run and play with. When in the house you will often find
me cuddled up with a foster sibling, or racing through the house
hiding behind a really cool stuffie toy. Those stuffies are really neat!
Here’s Mom to tell you the technical stuff
about me. Fresca has been spayed, is UTD on
vaccinations, and is HW and Lyme negative.
My nephews have visited and Fresca is
wonderful with them. I would not
recommend a home with young children.
Fresca is very high energy and although she
would never mean to cause anyone harm she
does run and play hard. Fresca has been
diagnosed with a mild case of hip dysplasia in
her left hip. The Orthopedic experts that read
Fresca’s x-rays feel that at this time Fresca’s
hip dysplasia is medically manageable.
Therefore, she is on a daily dose of CosaminDS /
Glucosamine Chondroiton, an anti inflammatory
supplement. The best news is Fresca runs and play with
tons of energy and her hip does not seem to bother her.
Fresca weighs 33.6 pounds and it is highly recommended
that her weight hold there. The thinner she is the better it
is for her hips.
Fresca is a sweet fun loving girl who deserves the
very best. Do you have a place in your home for this
wonderful girl? She’ll give you kisses and snuggle
with you forever.
