| Letting you go... I woke up this morning, something is not right. My heart feels heavy. Then I remember-today is the day I am letting you go. I have taught you everything I think you should know. I have taught you to trust and how to love. Oh, how I dread watching that car drive off with you inside, I want to run after you. You are crying for me, I am crying for you. But I know that you trust me to not let you down, I have made you a promise- The promise of your forever home. Now it is time for me to help another lost soul, to give them what I gave you- A chance to be a cherished member of your own family. My foster, I will never forget you. We have created a bond you and I that will withstand all time. I have given you a piece of my heart to take with you. Your happiness is all I need to go on.
