Once upon a time there was a little English
Setter boy that dreamed about a forever
home. Though he had a home where he was
loved something was missing and he
yearned for more. So when he was about 3
years old he decided he must find the
forever home that he had dreamed about
for so long so with his head held high and
tail a waggin' he set off down the road.
When
after several hours he began to get hungry
and tired that he came upon an older gent.
Trotting up to him Dallas asked "Are you my
forever home?" "No young man, I am not
but I know of someone who can help you in
your quest if you care to follow me," the
older gent replied. "Of course I will go with
"They are people that will teach you house manners, make
sure that you have all your shots and are heartworm
negative. Also they will make sure you are microchipped so
that when you find your forever home you will never loose it.
But before you find your forever home you must be
neutered, that is the true test of your desire." So with night
fall Dallas had dreams of his forever home and what it might
be like. There will be laps everywhere with never ending belly
rubs and ear scratches. And another dog to play with would
be nice and maybe even small people to run and play games
within a strong 6 foot fence to protect him and to keep him
safe from harm. And toys, must have toys to toss and
bounce on.
And Dallas dreamed of giving gentle kisses to his
people and going on big adventures with them. As
the sun came up and shone into the room where
Dallas was slowly waking up, he realized that it was
just a dream but a dream with a beginning.
If you have a desire for a dog that is extremely
smart and loving with a six foot fenced in yard for
him to run and play in, then you might just
have the happily ever after ending that Dallas so
deserves.
you if you can help me," returned Dallas. Soon they came to
the shelter for lost and forlorn dogs. "Dallas," said the
gentleman, "I have a nice warm bed for you for the night and
in the morning your foster parents will come for you." "What
are foster parents?" asked Dallas.
