Hello! Meet Ande - the one of the three “A” Team
puppies!
All three of the A team puppies are albino – pure
white coats and not a speck of pigment in their skin.
Rare indeed and then to have three in the same
litter! Their eyes are all a pale blue with ruby red
pupils. Albino dogs are often assumed to be blind
and deaf. But these kids can see and hear.
At 3 – 4 weeks old and surrendered without their
Mom it’s a miracle these kids survived! Ande
weighed 4 pounds when she entered rescue on
9/20 at 3.5 weeks old. She is now weighs in at 20
pounds and is 4 months old. Ande has excellent
eyesight. She will squint in bright sunlight and turn
away from the sun. If needing to have Ande outside
in bright summer sunlight with no shade.. she would
do best with a hat or pair of doggles. Ande’s
personality “It’s all about MEEEEEE! She loves to be
the center of attention….and with her looks – she
IS! She is playful and will play with whatever toys
are at hand.
Ande loves her bully sticks, Merrick mozzles, and Miss
porkies chews. She is chewing on only doggy chews
and has left household contents alone. She plays
nice with Amos & Angel but will entertain herself
too. All of the “A” team pups are extremely well
socialized. Not having a dog Mom and being so
stinking cute….makes for many people wanting to
hold, cuddle, play, or interact with them. Ande is
currently working on collar & leash 101. She has
graduated from “I should not bite with my puppy
teeth too hard class”. Amos & Ande are very nicely
mannered playmates!
Ande has a very intelligent and inquisitive look about
her. They are just learning to bark and puppy growl
which is too cute for words. Both Ande, Amos, and
Angel are extremely smart! These kids have been
the easiest to teach of any dogs I’ve fostered. Ande
also went on her first “point” at 4 weeks old.
Although Ande can see and hear, being Albino
means extra care needs to be taken. As her owner,
Ande will need sunglasses (yes they make these for
dogs called doggles and Ande currently has her first
pair in leopard print) or hat if out in bright summer
sun with no shade. Sunscreen will be a must for
their nose outdoors – like you would treat a baby.
Their skin is sensitive and advise using an oatmeal or
natural shampoo.
Being Albino, foster Mom is insisting on a physical
fenced yard. Getting lost in the outdoors would be
exceptionally hard and risky for these darlings.
Wouldn’t you just love to cuddle with this baby girl?
Ande will give you lifetime of love, laughter, and
happiness!
Ande is in foster care in Pine Grove, PA.
